Our Team

Rick Embro

Rick Embro is the founder of System Solutions and is an 18 year veteran in the information technology industry. He began his career in information technology as a database programmer developing software and databases for industries such as finance, insurance, healthcare, and manufacturing.  He soon began to realize that he and the companies he worked for were not fully meeting the needs of the clients that used the software that he helped to create.

Rick realized that the clients the served were looking for more complete end-to-end solutions. They not only needed the applications to drive their businesses, they also required the infrastructure to make it all possible and to tie everything together.  It was out of that realization that System Solutions was formed and Rick was refocused on providing the clients he serves with full business solutions, not just software.

Rick endeavors to maintain the high level of personal service that his clients have become accustom to expect from System Solutions.  His philosophy of providing clients with a single point of contact no matter what piece of the I.T. puzzle it happens to be, has made him a true resource and a trusted adviser to the businesses he serves.

Rick is also very active in the community in which he lives.  He serves on the board of directors of Nutrition for Learning in Waterloo Region which provides meals to needy school children in the Region.  He is  involved with other local charities in fundraising, awareness and community events and also volunteers as a local minor hockey coach.
